Job Overview
We are seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer (HVAC, Plumbing/FP) with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Bedminster, NJ. In this full-time, in-office role, you will assist in the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates with an engineering background who are interested in MEP services and looking to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various projects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop system layouts and calculations.
- Prepare and modify AutoCAD and REVIT drawings under the guidance of senior staff.
- Conduct field surveys and site visits to gather data and verify design conditions.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, such as electrical and structural teams, to ensure project success.
- Support project managers and senior engineers in day-to-day tasks and project execution.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically HVAC, plumbing, or fire protection.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system principles.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT, and other design software is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
