Job Overview
We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team in Blue Bell, PA. In this full-time, in-office role, you will be responsible for structural analysis and design, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate should have experience working on commercial or residential structural projects and possess strong technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structural analysis and design for commercial and residential projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
- Prepare design documents, calculations, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
- Review and approve structural drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design intent.
- Perform field inspections to verify compliance with design and resolve construction issues.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, progress, and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, including commercial or residential projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis, design principles, and applicable codes.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other related tools.
- Ability to prepare detailed structural calculations and design reports.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients and project teams.
- PE License is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
