Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Staffing and Recruiting Specialist to join our team in New York, NY and Delaware, DE. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing top IT talent for our clients across various industries. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure the best candidates are selected. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about recruiting within the IT sector.
Responsibilities
Source, screen, and interview candidates for IT roles, including software developers, network engineers, system administrators, and more.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified IT candidates using sourcing strategies like job boards, networking, and social media
Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and tailor recruiting strategies to meet client expectations.
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to placement, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
Conduct reference checks and negotiate offers between candidates and employers.
Stay updated with IT industry trends, salary benchmarks, and immigration regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand job requirements and company culture, ensuring the right fit.
Provide regular updates to hiring managers and leadership regarding recruitment progress and candidate pipelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in IT staffing and recruiting, ideally in a fast-paced agency or corporate environment.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of technical roles and IT industry trends.
- Tools Experience: Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Multitasking Ability: Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Visa Knowledge: Familiarity with immigration and visa processes is a plus.
